BriskCalc is maintained by an independent site operator who documents calculator logic, tests examples, checks primary-source links and records material changes.
Current reviewer status
BriskCalc is not currently represented as reviewed or endorsed by a CPA, Enrolled Agent, attorney, Amazon, Etsy, the IRS or another government agency. The “BriskCalc Editorial Team” label describes the site’s internal maintenance function; it is not a claim that multiple credentialed professionals have approved a page.
Until a real qualified reviewer agrees to be identified publicly, tax, retirement and marketplace results remain educational planning estimates. BriskCalc will not invent a reviewer name, photograph, credential or testimonial.
Review responsibilities
- Write the formula and assumptions in language a visitor can reproduce.
- Test normal examples, zero values, boundaries and invalid input.
- Link changeable tax and marketplace figures to the responsible primary source.
- Display a last-reviewed date and change log on priority calculators.
- Correct reproducible problems reported through the contact page.
Primary-source hierarchy
Federal tax and payroll figures should begin with IRS, SSA or U.S. Department of Labor material. Marketplace fees should begin with Amazon Seller Central, Amazon pricing pages, Etsy’s Fees & Payments Policy or the seller’s own account. Secondary articles may explain a topic but do not override the responsible source.
What an external review would change
If BriskCalc later retains a CPA, EA, attorney or other specialist, the site will publish the person’s real name, relevant credential, scope of review and review date only with permission. A credentialed review would not turn an estimate into filing, legal or investment advice.
Limitations and corrections
BriskCalc is not a government agency, marketplace operator, medical provider, engineering firm or financial adviser. Confirm material decisions with current official instructions or an appropriately qualified professional.
Read the editorial policy, review the corrections policy or report a reproducible issue.
